Campion Wines
It has been said that wine becomes a kind of liquid geography. If this is so, then the cartography of Pinot Noir is the most true. Campion's desire is to illuminate a portion of this territory.

Campion has been a passion project for Larry—expressing his own way of crafting exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Santa Lucia Highlands.
The focus is making an appellation wine from both varieties every vintage, including occasional small quantities of single vineyard reserve Pinot Noirs.
From the first vintage in 2000, the wines have been made using old-fashioned French wine farming methods. The emphases are on purity of varietal expression and the exposition of terroir.
The Chardonnay is distinguished by its modest alcohol, dynamic palate, and exceptionally well-integrated barrel flavors. The Pinot Noir is classic in structure–in the medium bodied mode with balance and age ability paramount.
